Operations-Operations Project Management Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Project Management Specialist for an exciting opportunity within the Hilb Group of New England-reporting directly to our Clark-Mortenson office in Keene, NH.

This key contributor is responsible for supporting the organization in the following areas:

  1. Provides maintenance support for hardware, software, and telephone systems including troubleshooting, repair, upgrades, software installation.
  2. Manages hardware/software inventory, maintains itemized budget and assists in developing appropriate business case uses for hardware/software upgrades.
  3. Development and implementation of system audits in conjunction with department managers.
  4. Supports management with critical reporting such as:
  • Maintaining and updating producer sales reports, insurance carrier production reports, and marketing tracking reports.
  • Maintaining monthly sales goals for each department and insurance carrier by line of business and producer.
  • Generating lost business reports.
  • Risk Match data integrity & analytics.
  • Tracking overall expenses to budget in the areas of IT and Marketing.
  1. Sales support:
  • Support producers with pipeline & opportunity management as it relates to Salesforce, including assistance with reporting and data integrity.
  • Oversight of Seminar and Webinar events.
  1. Agency licensing and appointments.
  2. Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.
  3. System training –
    • Offers tips and software solutions to increase workflow.
    • New Associate training and support with agency-wide training for agency systems such as telephone, agency management & document management systems, Microsoft 365 including MS Teams, Zywave products, Salesforce, etc.
  1. Oversee maintenance and upkeep of our web pages.
  2. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Able to work non-standard hours as needed to provide system support during non-business hours to minimize disruption to clients and staff.

Business Insurance Account Manager

Clark-Mortenson Insurance is seeking a career minded individual for a new full-time Business Insurance Account Manager in our Claremont, NH location. Core duties and responsibilities include servicing and expanding an existing book of business through account reviews, coverage recommendations, offering a variety of client services and building client relationships as well as closing incoming new business calls. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years insurance experience, preferably with commercial clients, hold their property and casualty license, work well within a team, and be self-motivated. Requires excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to think out of the box in helping our clients.

Responsibilities to include:

  • New business sales of commercial insurance products
  • Service of an existing book of business. Phone and email inquiries with individuals and company owners, client education and problem resolution.
  • Support of outside sales team.
  • Coordinate and manage the renewal process, adhering to all deadlines.
  • Understand multiple company product offerings.
  • General administrative support in the department (phones, quoting; proposals; data entry)

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word & Adobe
  • Have the ability to learn and understand multiple products.
  • Exceptional customer service skills. Able to easily build relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Able to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • 2+ years experience with Business Insurance or Customer Service
  • If not already licensed, must attain a Property and Casualty License in the required time after starting with Clark-Mortenson.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) / Interpersonal Skills
  • Confident self-starter who works well independently as well as in a team environment
