At the Ready for Our Communities
Giving back and enriching the communities that we serve is part of Clark-Mortenson’s mission. We foster this mission by providing our employees with paid volunteer days to allow them time to volunteer with any organization they choose. In addition to supporting staff with time off, we accept nominations for our annual “Charities of Choice”. The Charities of Choice program gives us the opportunity to work with local organizations and focus on helping them with fund raising, donation collections and volunteerism.
Our 2017 Charity of Choice was Stonewall Farm in Keene, NH. We held a number of internal fundraisers and spent time throughout the year volunteering in their gardens.
Other annual events we continue to support:
- Adopt a Highway
- Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities
- Monadnock Humane Society
- Meeting Waters YMCA
- Sponsorship of Red Cross Blood Drives
- Monadnock United Way: Employees support non-profits throughout our footprint and we provide a “Loaned Employee” to help support their campaign.
- Annual food drive for food banks throughout the CT River Valley.
Our staff actively serves on the boards of different civic and volunteer organizations, giving hundreds of hours a year to support those in need in our communities.
