Professional Experience:
As Agency CEO of Clark-Mortenson Insurance, Heather Minkler is responsible for the overall operation of three divisions (personal lines, commercial lines and financial services) in four office locations with 37 employees in New Hampshire and Vermont. Additionally, she oversees strategic planning and marketing initiatives in the agency. She has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry and holds the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Personal Risk Manager (CPRM). On the state level, Heather is a past chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New Hampshire, and past New Hampshire director on the Big “I” Board of Directors.
At the national association level, Heather has served on a number of boards for Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (Big “I”). She has served on the Trusted Choice Board, championed bringing new talent into the industry by serving as Chair of the InVEST board, and worked to elevate the quality and level of independent agencies by serving on the Best Practices Board. Heather also serves the industry by volunteering on various insurance company advisory boards. She currently serves on Central Mutual Insurance Company’s New England Region Board and Main Street America’s New England Regional Board.
In the Community:
Heather volunteers her time in the community by serving on numerous charitable organizations and civic boards. Currently she serves on The Colonial Theatre Board of Directors, Keene, NH and the Cheshire Health Foundation Board and Executive Committee. She is a past President of the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Keene, N.H. and she and her husband, Tom, have four grown children and six grandchildren.
