Clark-Mortenson makes headlines

Clark-Mortenson was recently recognized in two publications for its support of the community.  The first article was in the August 27th issue of the Vermont Standard which highlights the support the agency has provided to the Woodstock Community Food Shelf.  A portion of the article reads:

“Clark-Mortenson Agency, an insurance and financial group, has chosen the Woodstock Community Food Shelf and three other food shelves as the charity of choice for 2009.  Katherine Batchelder, COO, in a letter to the food shelf, noted that this is part of our core mission to give back to the communities we serve.  At an agency-wide meeting, the staff donated 17 bags of food and a check for $100.  We appreciate the generosity of Clark-Mortenson Agency.”

The agency was also featured in the United Way Campaign Newsletter dated September 15, 2009 for its efforts as a pacesetter for the 2009-2010 campaign:

“Clark-Mortenson Agency, Maggie Bard, campaign coordinator.  Activities stressed the personal touch – the campaign team personally visited all staff to hand them their pledge card, answer questions and then pick up each card and thank each donor for their contributions.  Participation was 86%.  Total employee giving was $4,121.  With a corporate gift of $250 plus $130 raised through promotional events, the grand total was $4,501.”

Thanks to the staff at Clark-Mortenson Agency for their support of our mission of giving back and helping our community neighbors.
